Pel - Graphic Novel Illustration

The "Pel" Photoshop Illustration was a deign I truly enjoyed creating. It all started with a set of leather hair braids that I was sketching for a character. The finished illustration warranted a final digital work; giving her more personality.

I loved Pel's eyes, which had a soft feel and radiated a sense of wonder. I wanted to keep this soft feeling through the rest of her facial features. Another part I enjoyed were the silk robes she is wearing, the fabric had a wonderfully soft an fluid feel to it and a shimmer that caught the light.

Her blue t-shirt had a fun fish decal, which added quite a bit of life and gave the entire work more personality.
